Catch Up!

Ahh. I haven't posted in almost a week. See, this is what happens when I endure boring and meaningless tasks everyday. Work experience was, meh. The first day went better than I was expecting. The part-time employee, Janice, was really nice and helped make me feel comfortable. The other two, however, weren't so enjoyable to be around. They were both around 60 years old. Old men basically. The grumpy one, Peter, was just a sexist, bos-eyed old bugger who hated the French and the proposed congestion charge in Manchester which he didn't fail to lecture me on during my second day. The other one, Stephen, wasn't all that bad, but boy could he talk. He would rant at me everyday for at least 1 hour about the stock market and finance and the economy etc etc. It was okay at first, but then it became a struggle now to switch off as soon as he started talking. Some of the gogeldy goop he came out with just flew over my head most of the time.

As the week progressed, my stay there was getting more and more tiresome and boring. I was only able to see Janice on the first day, turns out she was not needed for the rest of the week. The tasks set for me to do were few. The odd photocopying, making of teas and going out and buying the old men's lunch everyday was about it for the week. The rest of the time was spent reading he paper and books which made little sense to me. I was very, very glad when the week was over.

I think that's about enough for now. It bores me just typing my experiences during work experience. I'm very happy to be going back to school tomorrow.

Oh, and not to forget, I went to see the new Narnia film with Louise, and Siobhan yesterday. And in the night time myself , my sister and mother all watch Sweeney Todd. An unusual musical type film. But good none the less.

Toodles.

Sorry...I just have to laugh when I read some of your lingo. I guess that you would think some of the terms that I use are unusual, too. though. lol.

What did you think of Prince Caspian? The movie, I mean. Not the guy. lol.

I liked it, but at the same time I was a bit disappointed, having previously read the book. I think that they could have done a better job with it if they had made it a longer movie. It got a bit confusing because they switched scenes back and forth so much. They didn't even clearly state the names of some of the characters!

I hope that the next one is really good, though. Voyage of the Dawn Treader is my favorite book out of the whole series!
