First day of work experience today. Started out as a bit of a kerfuffle to say the least. First of all, couldn't remember where the bus stop was where I would catch my bus. Had to phone my mum to give me directions. Second, the bus driver took me a completely different route than I had expected and dropped me off at Stepping Hill hospital which utterly confused me. From there I had no idea where I was and how I would get to where I need to be. So I had to phone my mum again. She wasn't sure where exactly I was either so I had to ask a random stranger. Finally arrived at the tiny office with a total of 3 employees, 1 of which is part time, and the only female. The other 2 who are old enough to be my grandfather. One is moody and quite sexists, chats on about the technology "back in his day" and gets the woman to make all the drinks and buy their lunch and do all the boring jobs. While the other talks about nothing but the stock market and finance and bah de blah, zzzzz. I found myself switching off as soon as he spoke to me. Absolutely nothing was going in. Oh well. The day went quicker than I had imagined. Overall, it was quite dull though. Also, I managed to end the day perfectly by missing my bus home.
Righio, I'm gonna have to cut it short on this one today. My sister is wanting to go to bed. Goodnight.
