My dad has started with this whole gambling thing as well now. Although with a more optimistic approach. He asked me to pick his lottery numbers today from a list of 'hot picks', the most frequent numbers drawn from each lottery draw in the past 365 days. I did so, and it did take me a while. I had to think of all the factors that could change the probability of winning. It didn't help that he wanted not just 1 ticket of numbers, but 5. Despite the length of time it took me, I did quite enjoy it, I like logical thinking, but creative thinking also. And I think I picked some good numbers, even though I know that your just as likely to win on a lucky dip as you are if you pick the numbers; 1, 2, 3, and 4, for instance. I tried telling this to my dad but he was having none of it.
I began on my Blackjack and card counting skills today. I can count through 1 pack of cards in around 2 minutes. I just need to reduce that time to the recommended 30 seconds before I can start on 2 packs. I have much more research to do also.
My to do list grows with each day. It seems there's so much to learn but so little time.
That is all.
